The Egyptian Beds were inclined from Foot to Head by 5°, though there is no conclusive evidence that this was done for any other reason but aesthetics or comfort, we are just now realizing the health benefits to be gained from IBT (Inclined Bed Therapy).
I can not wait to incline my Bed!!! Check this out!
I will take some before and afters of my Edema in my legs !

Hi Tara, thanks for making this blog and most of all thanks for testing my theory on oedema, which is in direct conflict with current physiology literature and advice given from doctors and nurses, who recommend that raising the legs rather than sleeping flat or sitting with legs down will bring temporary relief.
This method fails because it simply moves the fluid towards the abdomen, whereas Inclined Bed Therapy reduces the pressure inside the veins and applies tension to the blood in the veins, which draws the fluids back into the circulation and out through the bladder.
I look forward to learning more about your experiences in due course and if it works, this blog will help more people to discover IBT.
Kind regards
Andrew
I had tried the “approved” method and it did not work, and my sleep was uneasy. That is why I chose to give this a try. After reading several testimonies on the web and in the Facebook group, I just had to do it. Last night was my first full tilt and I am excited!! Thank you!
