Day 16 What were you doing at 5am?


Good Morning!

I went to bed last night thinking about how would like to wake a little bit earlier so to be sure to get some morning exercise in. I do not believe in alarm clocks AT ALL, so I do not have one. I use the ol native American method, drink water late and you will rise early:)

SO 5 am came and Up I went to do my thing…I took a look at the clock and was like YES!!!!! I can get a WHOLE hour of Yoga, calisthenics, and Pilates in!! Unfurled the Yoga mat was and I began with Sun Salutations… REALLY slow, holding pose long time sun salutations :). It was 45 minutes of 4 total rounds. I was sweating!

Then I did the 100, the plank, leg curls, and twists!! I feel so good! I could feel the fire in my shoulders, not PAIN fire, just warm happy fire. I have mentioned my shoulders before, and they are the ones telling me to get on the mat. I will not allow a lifetime of the hospitality industry ruin my Surfing/Yogi career!

TONIGHT I will go for a jog, get the buttocks and legs some love fire too!

Ahh Yes, this challenge is going SO WELL!
